The new U-Clamp which is Arca Swiss compatible from Henderson Precision is designed from the ground up for the precision rifle world. The “U” stands for Universal because this clamp works on multiple bipods, Tripods and other types of shooting supports.
This is not an imported, extruded camera accessory that has been re-branded. It is machined from bar stock on state-of-the art 5-axis machining centers and assembled with grade 8 hardware, hardened carbon steel dowels and carbon steel springs for a lifetime of service. Like all of our products, the U-Clamp was designed by shooters for shooters and was designed, machined, anodized, assembled and packaged right here in America. We have put various prototypes through rigorous testing and many matches while evaluating the performance of the U-clamp. The U-clamp was built with extra width for increased clamping power and slide-ability on extended Arca Swiss rails. The final product is nothing less than what our customers have come to expect from Henderson Precision.
The Universal clamp will work with both the Atlas and Harris S series bipods. There is no additional mounting hardware needed when mounting to an Atlas.
When mounting to a Harris S series bipod it is necessary to order the (Harris post adapter) which screws directly to the clamp body for mounting to the Harris carriage.
The Harris post adapter may be ordered separately.
